IBC2019 SRT Recap

It’s safe to say that this year’s IBC was our biggest, busiest and best show to date! With over 70 SRT Alliance members in attendance, all eyes were on SRT during the show. For that, we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing members and proud SRT enthusiasts and supporters for being such fantastic ambassadors of SRT and all it represents as an open source initiative. Here are a few highlights shared by Sylvio Jelovcich, VP of Global Alliances at Haivision.

An Inspiring Community

IBC continues to be the place where cutting edge ideas and innovations are shared and relationships are formed, and this is especially the case for the SRT Alliance. In addition to the SRT Alliance members at the show sharing their SRT deployments, we continue to discover more organizations, both large and small, who are using SRT in their solutions that weren’t previously on our radar. This just further validates the premise of SRT use and adoption by the broadcast industry. According to Sylvio, “Every partner that I spoke to was very enthusiastic about the quality of SRT interest at their booths.”
